Tennis Quiz

A tennis quiz of six questions, drawn from tennis scoring and the Grand Slams.

Six questions on the sport’s numbers

This is the shortest kind of quiz Final Score runs: six questions, all of the rule type. They draw from two territories — the way tennis scoring is counted, and the Grand Slams. All six answers are settled numbers, fixed by the sport itself, and none is printed anywhere in this prose. The questions do the asking; the page only tells you where they point.

Because all six questions come from the rulebook rather than from any season’s results, nothing here depends on a current tournament, a ranking, or a record that could move next week.

Why the answers hold up

Final Score keeps its rule facts in a dataset covering the settled numbers of 14 sports, tennis among them. That dataset was written twice, by two authors working independently, and the two copies were compared entry by entry before any question was generated. Questions were built only from the compared datasets — no fact reached the quiz on a single author’s word. The same double-writing method stands behind every quiz on the site, from the six questions here to the longest championship sets.

What a run looks like

Each of the six questions offers four options. Choose one and the quiz marks it immediately, with a one-line explanation of the correct answer alongside. When all six are answered, a short review shows each question, your pick, and the right answer. Your best score is stored in your browser, so a perfect six waits there to be matched on your next visit. There is no signup and nothing to download; the whole quiz lives in this page. And if six questions leave you wanting more, the rest of the site carries longer sets on championships, finals, and the rules of the other sports in the dataset.
