Swimming Quiz

A swimming quiz with six questions, drawn from competitive strokes and pool standards.

Six questions, six settled numbers

This quiz holds exactly six questions, all of the rule type. Their territory is competitive swimming — the strokes raced in competition and the standards a pool is held to. Each answer is a fixed number, settled by the sport, and none is written anywhere on this page. Six questions mean six picks, six verdicts, and a result you know inside a minute.

Nothing about the questions depends on a season, a meet, or a record that could move. They rest on the rulebook, the most stable ground in sports.

How the answer was verified

The numbers behind these questions live in Final Score’s rules dataset, which records the settled numbers of 14 sports. That dataset was written twice, by two authors working independently, and the two copies were compared entry by entry before any question was generated. The procedure does not scale down: a six-question quiz gets the same verification as an eighteen-question one. The sport’s name appears here only to describe what the questions are about; this site is independent of any federation or governing body.

Pressing start

Each question offers four options. Pick one and it is marked immediately, right or wrong, with a one-line explanation of the correct answer. The review that follows is brief by design — six questions, your picks, the right answers. Your best score is saved in your browser, so a clean six waits there to be matched on your next visit. There is no signup and nothing to download. And if six questions are not enough, the rest of the site runs longer quizzes on championships, finals, and the rules of the other sports in the dataset.
