Gymnastics Quiz

A six-question gymnastics quiz on the apparatus of artistic gymnastics — quick to play, with every answer checked against a twice-written dataset.

Six questions on the apparatus

This is one of the shortest formats on the site: 6 questions, all drawn from the rules dataset, all about the apparatus of artistic gymnastics.

The apparatus is settled ground — the kind of fact that lives in a rules reference rather than a results page. That is the territory these questions work: the equipment the sport is contested on, not any competition, score, or athlete. Nothing here depends on a meet, a season, or a scoring cycle still in progress, so the six answers stay the same tomorrow as today.

The dataset behind all six answers

Gymnastics sits in the site’s rules dataset, which records the settled numbers of 14 sports. That dataset was written twice, by two authors working independently, and the two versions were compared entry by entry before any question was generated. Only entries that matched in both copies became questions. The site’s champions dataset — the one behind the title quizzes elsewhere on Final Score — went through the same process, with all 232 entries agreeing at the first diff.

The play-through

All six questions follow the house format: four options, one pick, and an instant verdict with a one-line explanation attached. Get one wrong and you still walk away with the correct answer and the reason for it.

When the sixth question is answered, the review shows the full round — all six questions, your picks, and the right answers together. Your best score is saved in your browser, so a clean six-for-six stays on the record for your next visit. There is no signup and nothing to download; the quiz runs in this page. Final Score is an independent quiz site, and sport and competition names are used only to refer to the sports themselves.
